Student Affairs Projects

MSU Spirit

The MSU Spirit groups uphold the traditions that define the MSU game day experience for fans young and old.  Whether performing at home football and basketball games or attending alumni functions and birthday parties, Mississippi State's Spirit Groups work hard to ensure that Bulldogs of all ages have the best fan experience possible.

New Maroon Camp

The Mississippi State University New Maroon Camp is a five-day, four-night student led legacy camp that prepares first year students for the transition to Mississippi State University. At New Maroon Camp, students learn what it really means to be a Mississippi State Bulldog.

MSU Roadrunners

The Roadrunners were founded in 1979 to engage students in the prospective student recruitment process. Since that time the Roadrunners have been a critical part of the Office of Admissions and Scholarships. Students are able to share their unique experiences with prospective students and their families to give them insight on what being a student at Mississippi State University is really like.

Maroon VIPs

Maroon VIP is a volunteer student organization that greets all Mississippi State University guests with a warm southern welcome. These students serve the Welcome Center, the Office of the President and any other University department requesting the services of tours, information and events.
